What Fellowship Has Light With Darkness

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 

 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 

 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

We will read, if we are the children of God (Jesus/the light), we must walk/live as the children of light.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Do Opposites Attract ? Can Light Dwell With Darkness? 

Before coming into the truth we all walked in darkness at some point in our lives, however after repenting and being baptized in the name of Jesus, you now put on the new man and now walk in newness of life. The old man is dead; therefore, as children of light you no longer have anything to do with the  works of darkness but rather reprove those things which are evil spoken of. 

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: 

for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.  Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

The word of God is what sanctifies or sets apart children of light from children of darkness; therefore, be careful of whom you associate yourselves with, especially those who try and draw you away to serve other gods. The servant of God is instructed to separate themselves from those things which cause them to sin and stumble at the word of God. The question often asked is do we listen and fall back into our wicked ways.

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,  And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 

 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Now let us take a close look at Solomon the son of David. A mighty servant of God who built a house for the Lord, however Solomon was instructed to do all that the Lord commanded by one stipulation… “If”

And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the Lord , and the king's house, and all Solomon's desire which he was pleased to do,  That the Lord appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon.  

And the Lord said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. 

 And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: 

 Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel. 

 But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them: 

 Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:

Did Solomon allow strange women to turn him from serving the God of Israel to serving their gods.

 

But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;  

And the Lord was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the Lord God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice, And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the Lord commanded.

The children of light are called out this world to share the Word of God with the fornicator, the extortioner, covetous and idolaters. However, are we to keep company with a brother or sister in the truth who is doing the same.

And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.  And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and will go to the battle; but put thou on thy robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to the battle.

  And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the Lord helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.  For it came to pass, that, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back again from pursuing him.  

And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand, that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.  

And the battle increased that day: howbeit the king of Israel stayed himself up in his chariot against the Syrians until the even: and about the time of the sun going down he died.

Like many of us Jehoshaphat let his emotions get in the way, which caused him to make a possible life altering decision in joining up with evil Ahab.  Many of us have friends and family with whom we share the word of God whenever possible, however we must be mindful not to allow their burdens to distract us from serving God.

Children of light must not be a respecter of persons in any matter and must judge righteously at all times. Where is the man who was with the woman caught in adultery….seems all too familiar even today! However after being convicted by their own conscience they had no reason to condemn the woman.

Condemn: To pronounce to be guilty; sentence to punishment.

Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.  And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.  And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,  They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.  

Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?  This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.  

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.  

And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.  And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 

 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?  She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Children of light are no longer condemned when they are led by the Word of God. They no longer live in bondage under the elements of the world. For a believer to be carnally minded (Works of the flesh) is death and cannot please God. Jesus said the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63).

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 

 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 

 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.  

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

How must we walk/live as the children of light?

Let the Book speak!

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

The Falling Away

 

During the pandemic, the world I live in appears to have been turned upside down. Monkey Pox, COVID-19, and even Polio has made a comeback from the past. War between Russia and the Ukraine dominate the headlines, inflation is out of control and the Unites States is on the brink of a recession. Never in my lifetime would I ever imagine seeing an all out siege on the Whitehouse. Yes, the picture above gives a depiction of how I see the world whenever I walk out my front door. 

Lies have become truth, truth has become lies, wrong is right, right is wrong, evil is good, and good is evil. 

How did this world get out of order? How did the people become so lawless and hardhearted toward one another.  

The bible calls or describes this event as the falling away from the truth. You're probably wondering what truth am I talking about? I'm talking about the falling away from the true word of God as it is written in the scriptures. Jesus Christ warned his apostles of this taking place while being questioned about his second coming. Many will come in the name of Jesus brining in a false doctrine, which will cause many to turn away from the true doctrine Christ taught his Apostles.

Yes, you can read throughout the bible regarding many people turning away from the truth, however, in these last days it is happening before our very eyes. 

• Members are leaving the church. 

• Some members have become stumbling blocks by attempting to bring in a new doctrine, contrary to the Word of God. 

• Marriages are under attack. 

Let’s put the Word of God on the table to tell us why and who is actually behind this great mystery.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Your enemy has just been identified. Satan our adversary, opposes, resists, or contends with everything God has set in order since the creation. For example,the Lord gave us the 7th day Sabbath (Saturday), however, Satan said the 1st day (Sunday) is his day of worship. Satan’s greatest weapon is lies, however, you don’t need me to tell you, let the word of God speak for itself.

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;  

But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 

 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 

 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

2 Corinthians 4:1‭-‬4 KJV

You have now come to understand the true word of God come into this truth and begin to change your ways. You repent, you are now baptized in the name of Jesus. That old man who use to lie, steal, and formicate is no more and you have put on the new man, only to walk in newness of life. You began to walk in newness of life only to tell your family and friends you keep the 7th day Sabbath, you no longer celebrate, Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day or eat unclean foods such as Pork, Shrimp and Catfish. They begin to persecute and ridicule you for the positive change in your life, leaving you to believe they would be happy for you. Why or how did this happen? because the god of this world is Satan who has deceived and blinded the eyes of those who have no understanding of the what the scriptures really teach. As soon as you give friends or family the true word of God, Satan is waiting to take what they received and cast doubt. Remember, Those who keep the Commandments of God and the Testimony of Jesus are Satan's enemies.  

 

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

  That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 

 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 

 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 

 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

2 Thessalonians 2:1‭-‬4‭, ‬8‭-‬12 KJV

Before Jesus returns to this earth two things have to take place. First a “falling away” from the truth, which is the word of God will take place. The second being the son of perdition or destruction, which is none other than the Pope himself . Do you recall Jesus warning us to go and read about the Abomination of Desolation mentioned in the book of Daniel (Matt 24:15; Dan. 11:31-37, 12:11).God is going to send a strong delusion to those who continue to reject and kick against the word of God.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Genesis 1:26‭-‬28 KJV

God created man in his own image and in his likeness, which tells me God has a nose, two eyes, two ears, and two legs. God commanded the man and the woman to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth, and to have dominion over all living creatures. Don’t believe me, go to your local zoo or look at your neighbor's pet performing all those wonderful tricks taught by mankind. However, mankind in his infinite wisdom has taken mischief and made it a law (Psalm 94:20) by allowing same sex unions to marry in an attempt to usurp what God has ordained. Male/male nor female/female can multiply and replenish the earth.… but I digress

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 

 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord , and against his anointed, saying, 

 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 

 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Remember the Lord gave man dominion over the earth and now the Lord has asked two questions.  Why do the nations rage and imagine a vain thing. It's because man corrupted themselves and turned away from God as they did at the Tower of Babel. Man has chosen to turn away from observing God's commandments, holy days and dietary law; therefore, choosing to live contrary to what God has instructed. God gave man the blueprint; however, God also gave man freewill or the decision to make their own decisions. Remember! Our choices have serious consequences (Deuteronomy 30:15-19). 

 

And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.  

And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord , that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the Lord , neither will I let Israel go.

God commanded Pharaoh to let The Children of Israel go and keep a feast to Lord in the wilderness. However, Pharaoh refused because he didn't serve the God of Israel and refused to obey his instructions to let Israel go. This is very true in today's society. Many nations and people know the Lord's sabbath day is on Saturday; however, they choose not to honor God's 4th commandment. Religious leaders of all faiths know Christmas and Easter is pagan, nor does it have anything to do with Jesus; yet, will not follow the Word of God. Remember Jesus warned us that many would come in his name. As we read earlier, the god of this world (Satan) opposes everything God has set in place since the beginning of the creation. Satan influences flesh and blood human beings to carry out his mission.

Hold on! Let’s Find Out What This Fourth Beast Is Doing!

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

  And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 

 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

  But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

This fourth beast is the Roman Empire, which will rise and fall ten times. The E.U. will be the last to rise and fall of the Roman Empire. Why is this beast so terrible? Because it will destroy the people both physically and spiritually. The Ten horns out of this Kingdom represent all the men who have tried to resurrect the Roman Empire. The Pope will seek to destroy all those who keep the commandments and the testimony of Jesus Christ that will not make it to the place of safety for three and half years….remember the Spanish inquisition? The Roman Catholic Church changed the Lord’s seventh day Sabbath (Saturday) to Sunday, the first day of the week.

And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:  

With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.  

So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.  

And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

Who is this great whore that sits on many waters receiving judgement from the seven angels. This is none other than the Catholic Church, the false church who sits upon many waters and rules over many people. The wine of her fornication, along with the golden cup in her hand is nothing but lies and false doctrine. The only people present in the garden of Eden where Adam, Eve, Jesus (The Tree of Life) and Satan (The Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil); therefore this can’t be Tyrus. Satan the chief angel was originally named Lucifer, the light bringer (bringer of the truth) until iniquity/sin was found in him. Yea, the one kicked out of heaven by the Arc angel Michael (Rev.12), the one who deceived the whole world, the one who wants to be like the Most High, the one who gave the gentile nations their seat and great authority. It is this angel who is walking about seeking whom he may destroy because he knows he has but a short time. Satan and his ministers come in the name of Jesus to deceive the people, causing them to fall away from the truth. Oh! It was Jesus who gave the order to kick Satan out of Heaven (Luke 10:17-18).

And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

  But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

 Pergamos, the compromising church. Pergamos had many idols, such as Zeus, Dionysius, Athene and was one of the pagan cities of the Roman Empire. Are you willing to give your life for the Word of God, are you willing to count the cost as Antipas. Satan is always on his job; therefore; as a servant of God, so should we. A stumbling block is an obstacle to progress or an impediment to belief for understanding. However, Balac was sent to entice the children of Israel to sin against their God. The children of Israel not only committed physical fornication, they committed spiritual fornication in turning away from their God. Hint...Always keep your spiritual eyes open whenever a brother or sister brings a doctrine contrary to the sixty-six books of the bible. 

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,  Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people.  

And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the Lord of Midian.

  And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.  

And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho.

 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the Lord in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the Lord .

So, we can clearly see why the Lord was angry with those at the Church of Pergamos. The children of Israel were instructed to avenge themselves against the Midianites; however, the children of Israel took the women captive, along with the children and cattle. The women of Midian caused the children of Israel to trespass against their God and began making sacrifices to other gods; thus, Israel joined himself to Baal-peor (stumbling block). Let this be our example when we fail to take heed to the instructions written in the bible. God is a spirit and we must worship him in spirit and truth.

 

And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

This harlot has killed many of God’s saints throughout the ages and continues to do so today (spiritually) with her false doctrine.

Now Is The Time For The Judgement of The Great Whore That Sits Upon Many Waters Who Reign Over The Kings Of The Earth.

Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.

Jesus  Christ, The Lord of Host, The Holy One of Israel, The Lion of The Tribe of Judah Who Is King of Kings and Lord of Lord’s Will Judge This Whore Who Sits On Seven Mountains.

And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. 

 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.  

And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Revelation 17:7‭-‬18 KJV

The woman who reigneth over the kings of the earth, the great whore who sits upon many waters, is none other than Vatican City. Ten Kings who rule over Ten kingdoms will give their power to the beast (Satan) for one hour, which is 3 ½  years, the Great Tribulation. It is Rome/Vatican City who sits upon seven mountains.

Can Two Walk Together Unless They Be Agreed?

 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

What Shall We Do Then To Save Ourselves From This Untoward Generation?
